A Biggest Morning Tea event at Laharum Hall raised $3542.70.
A lunch, in lieu of a morning team, raised money for both the Cancer Council and the Rachael’s Wish Fundraising Appeal – $2467.60 will be donated to the Cancer Council while $1075.10 was raised for Rachael’s Wish.
The Cancer Council Volunteer Group at Horsham’s Hamilton Lamb Hall raised $2000.
Groups who hosted a Biggest Morning Tea before the official date was Eventide Homes in Stawell, which raised $155 and Pinnacle Inc, which raised $1040.20.
The money raised helps the Cancer Council fund cancer research, prevention programs and support services.
