Contestants in The Amazing Picture Taking Race have a two-hour timeframe to discover the clue container that will help them find their six photographic subjects and lead them to their next destinations.
Event co-ordinator Mark Radford said participants could expect a “total mystery” around where they would go and what subjects they would photograph.
“We’re sending contestants to mystery destinations around Horsham, like the Botanic Gardens, where they could be taking photos of the trees,” he said. “Contestants will be split into four groups so we don’t have everyone following each other.”
Once completed, the contestant’s six photographs will be developed at Harvey Norman.
Each photographer’s best picture is submitted to the judges who will then determine a winner.
“There will be three prizes including a large canvas, a medium canvas and some frames,” Mr Radford said.
The event is open to anyone with a digital camera and a sense of adventure.
Mr Radford said entry cost $10 per person. The event starts at 10am from Jubilee Hall at 21 Roberts Avenue.
