Franchisee Ron Wade said Caltex Foodarys offered various services throughout Victoria – such as Boost Juice and Sumo Salad.
“For now we want to settle in and make sure that what we do, we do it well and then hopefully expand from there,” he said.
Staff have received training from Victoria Coffee and Mr Wade hopes the new barista skills will reflect in their service.
The Caltex site also offers super high-flow pumps for passing truck drivers, as well as showers for travellers to freshen up.
Mr Wade said opening on Friday ahead of a long weekend meant staff had a busy start to trade.
He said people were impressed with the new building and the service.
“Many customers have commented on the cafe-like feel, which is what Caltex wanted to create,” he said.
The Horsham Foodary Caltex is the fifth in Australia and is also the first franchisee site.
