SOUTHERN Mallee Giants will be on the road when it travels to Rupanyup to take on the 10th placed Panthers.

This game looks like it could go just one way with the Giants in for a chance to continue its impressive unbeaten run.

After the appointment of new coaches, both sides have experienced a year of positives.

Giants coach Shaun Monohan has created a free-scoring side that looks dangerous across the oval.

Panthers coach Andrew May has helped improve his side with son Zack May as his assistant.

The Giants are again the benchmark in the Horsham District Football Netball League.

It has a plethora of players who can stand up at any occasion.

Coleman Schache will be a player to watch out for this week.

The makeshift midfielder has been a very important inclusion after the departure of several important players.

Kain Robins has managed to kick 54 goals in seven games this season, a huge tally in any league.

Sam Weddell will be important on half-back in keeping the Panthers out of the side’s defensive 50.

Tyler May has been standing up in recent weeks for the Panthers and will have a big role on Saturday.
