There were 62 morning tea orders prepared by a small team of members.
The branch's scholarship student Samantha Crawford and her mentor Ann Matthews attended the event.
Community members arrived soon after and a guest speaker, Angel Flight pilot Denis Grosser spoke about the organisation.
Mr Grosser said the Angel Flight charity was launched in 2003 and since then thousands of free missions had been taken by people who needed non-emergency flights but were financially or medically unable to travel.
He said more than 3000 pilots and more than 3000 Earth Angels donated their time and aircraft availability to those in need.

Beulah branch members started the June meeting by tasting 10 varieties of soup.
Central Wimmera group president Jenni Turnbull gave an interesting report on the Victoria state conference, held at Shepparton.
Topics included Royal Flying Doctor Service, Crohns and Colitis, National Stroke Foundation, Telstra, dairy industry and all CWA chairs reporting on their committees.
The state’s new vice-presidents are Bev Wall, Jenny Nola, Pam Mawson and Heather Scott and international chairman, Wendy Earwicker.
CWA Victoria will host the world conference of ACWW, in Melbourne in 2019.
Beulah members donated $50 to the Asthma Camp, to be held at Halls Gap on October 21 and 22.
The branch's international officer, Gaye Sanders reported on Denmark, the country of study, with a special speaker at the July meeting, and lunch of Danish cuisine.
Next meeting, July 21 (please note change of date), 11am, Danish meal, followed by guest speaker Heidi Habel, and general meeting; competition, article of clothing wearing red and white.
