The Giants have proven to be one of the strongest attacking outfits in the Horsham District league this season to date and they came out to play at Rupanyup on Saturday.
A high-scoring first quarter from both sides got the game humming early – but it was the Giants who had the jump and led 18 goals to nine at the first break.
From there, the lead continued to extend. By half-time, the Giants had more than doubled the home side’s score.
Goalers Annabel Stewart and Codie Maree Robins managed 71 successful scoring opportunities between them by the final whistle – Stewart leading the way with 43 goals.
Alex Downes and Jenni Downer were gallant for the Panthers, who sit ninth on the A Grade ladder after eight rounds.
