“We need to start strong and our attack needs to have a good first quarter to give us the confidence for the rest of the game,” she said.
Gray said they will use the first quarter to work out how Natimuk United moves the ball in attack.
Natimuk United player Shannon Couch is on Gray’s radar.
“Looking at the stats this year she is the one scoring most of their goals,” she said.
“She is quite dominant, I think it will be important to put good defensive pressure all down the court so we can stop the ball getting to her.”
“It is not just the keeper’s job to deny her the ball.”
Gray believes consistency is key for her side in the match.
“Emma Ubergang in center always performs consistently and we have a few strong defenders in Anne Noonan, Caitlin Hickey and Courtney Wareham.”
“It will be a matter of match-ups and seeing what combinations work best on the day as we push to get the points,” she said.

Edenhope-Apsley coach Leonie Lang expected to win.
“I won’t underestimate Pimpinio I think they’ll come out strong,” she said.
“Our defence end is strong but we hope to improve on our attack.”
