Tessa is a valued member of the Jeparit Rainbow under 17s team.
In addition to under 17s, Tessa also plays A and B Grade.
Since joining the club in 2016, she has made a big impression on her teammates and coaches with her athletic style of play.
This year, she is the oldest player in the 17 and under team and has displayed great leadership skills.
Tessa acts as a mentor for younger team members, continually encouraging them off and on the court.
Tessa has umpired and is always ready to help out around the club.
Tessa has represented the Horsham District Football Netball League and this year has also taken up football.
Tessa played for the Greater Western Victorian Rebels earlier in the year.
She is currently playing for the Horsham Saints.
This has meant many hours of travel for Tessa and her parents.
Her love of netball and football stands out.
Tessa is a very deserved winner of the Blue Ribbon Spirit of Netball Award.

The round six winner of the Blue Ribbon Spirit of Football Award for the Wimmera Football League is Minyip Murtoa footballer Cody Bell.
An exceptional young player, Cody plays in the Burras’ under 17 team.
In good form, Cody has been consistently named in the best players throughout the 2017 season.
The son of former premiership player Leigh Bell, Cody displays tremendous spirit and tenacity every time he steps onto the football field.
Cody is a future leader, displaying a fantastic work ethic.
During the 2017 season, he has found himself playing the majority of time in the back pocket.
Cody has done a stellar job under extreme pressure, whilst usually undersized as well.
His desire to win the football in each contest and ability to pressure and harass the opposition makes him a worthy recipient of the Blue Ribbon Spirit of Football Award.

Horsham Saints, under 17, netballer Chloe Payne is the round six Blue Ribbon Foundation Spirit of Netball Award winner.
Chloe received her Spirit of Netball Award prior to her match last weekend.
Chloe has played all of her junior netball with the Horsham Saints.
After returning from a year off netball, she has come back stronger than ever.
In the last couple of months, Chloe's knowledge and understanding of the game has developed significantly.
Chloe makes coaching very easy.
Everything that Chloe is asked to do she attempts to work into her game and completes with 100 per cent commitment, effort, and enthusiasm.
Her skills have dramatically improved in recent times.
The Horsham Saints look forward to the rest of her season, as she continues to develop her netball skills.
