Linc Munro, 5, has cancer and communities groups have come together to raise money for his family.
Minyip-Murtoa’s Casey Kosch said the community wanted to help and decided to have lolly bag sale at the football on July 1, when the Burras take on Warrack Eagles.
“We are asking the community to donate items to fill these bags with some of Linc’s favorite things the aim of making 400 bags,” she said.
“Linc’s favorite things are pineapples and Milko lollies, batman and the colour green.”
“Every little item helps.”
Ms Kosch said anyone wanting to donate needed to do so by 11am on Wednesday.
She said people could drop donations off at Shaw’s Building Supplied in Dimboola Road, Warracknabeal; Minyip Medical Supplies in Main Street, Minyip; the post office in McDonald Street, Murtoa; or Elders Insurance in McLachlan Street, Horsham.
