The home side set up a win with a six goal to one second quarter before the game ended 16.12 (108) to 11.16 (82).
The Eagles bounced back strongly from their loss against Horsham in round seven in order to secure the win.
Both sides had trouble converting opportunities in the first quarter and the Eagles led by a single goal at the first break.
It was the home side which adjusted better during the second quarter. The Eagles kicked five goals and five behinds to one goal and three behinds to open up the margin to 32 points at half-time.
The 26-point margin in the second-quarter ultimately proved to be the difference when the final siren sounded.
The Eagles’ lead grew by the end of the third quarter.
Dimboola continued to show the fight it did against Minyip-Murtoa the week before to claw the margin back during the final term.
Josh Bibby’s six-goal haul moved him back to the top of the league’s goalkicking tally as he proved to be a big difference between the sides.
Jack Wilson also added four and Dalton Jaensch kicked three.
Dimboola’s goalkicking load was shared among more players. There was eight players in the side who kicked goals compared to just five for Warrack.
Ryan McKenzie was awarded best on ground in his side’s sixth win of the season. Elliot Braithwaite was again strong for Dimboola.
Dimboola will look to continue its improvement against the Horsham Saints in round nine, while Warrack will prepare for a challenge against Minyip-Murtoa.
