Eight goals to George Walker set the scene for the Saints, as they earned promotion from seventh to fifth on the Horsham District league ladder – tied with Swifts and Kalkee but ahead of the two teams on percentage.
Scores remained tight after the first quarter, but the Saints managed to break away and clinched a 44-point lead at halftime.
Midfielders Daniel Richardson and Jason Rae, along with Lachlan Middleton in defence, played well for the Saints.
Middleton’s opponent, Jake Dixon-MacDonald, was named the Tigers’ best player and he gained good support from Daniel Baker, with two goals, and Kieran Hinch.
Pimpinio remains at the bottom of the ladder, still fighting for its first win after nine rounds.
