Around 60 shooters from across the state gathered at the Stawell Rifle Club for part two of the Target Rifle Victoria State Championships on Saturday.

Shooters competed in a range of prone and bench events from 20 to 90 metres with small bore rifles.
Jacob Cooper and Daniel Crawford were Stawell’s sole shooters in the competition.
“I did not go too well myself, but Jacob had a good weekend and shot very well,” Crawford said.
Cooper finished in tenth place across the two days of competition.
Stawell is one of only four 90m ranges in Victoria, making it a popular destination for shooters.
“Our facilities are right up there with the best in the state and even the country,” Crawford said.
“Everyone seems to love it up here (in Stawell).”
“It was a great weekend of shooting.”
The Target Rifle Victoria presentation night was also held in Stawell, with James Daly the big winner taking home the master marksman and Northcote trophies.
