People can get involved by buying a red nose or other Red Nose Day product, making a donation, hosting a children’s fundraising disco or setting up an online fundraising page.
Horsham mayor Pam Clarke encouraged the Horsham community to support the important cause.
“Red Nose Day is the major fundraiser for SIDS and Kids,” she said.
“Supporting the very important work they do in helping to save young lives and assisting the 3200 Australian families who suffer the sudden loss of a baby or child each year.”
Money raised funds research and education programs, as well as, bereavement support for families affected.
The SIDS and Kids’ fundraisers have contributed more than $16.7 million.
