The Rats sit in fifth spot, four points and 26 per cent clear of the Horsham Saints in sixth position.
Ararat had a big win against Stawell in its last match and will be hoping the strong form continues for another week in Horsham.
The Demons are coming off a win against the Saints with most of the scoreboard damage done in the first term with a nine-goal advantage at the first break.
The Rats will need to start well to keep themselves in the game, with the Demons scoring 16,10 and 17 goals in the first term in their last three games.
Rats coach Lauren Armstrong said the team is looking forward to facing the undefeated Demons.
“We have definitely improved as the season has gone on, so we are really excited to see what we can do second time around against them,” she said.
“We had a good half against them last time, and I am more confident in our ability to play four quarters now.”
The Rats will have some changes to the team but have still not finalised the team.
“We have a few out, but not really anything too worried about,” Armstrong said.
“It will be good when we keep our best team on court but I have full faith in them.”
