The Demons sit fourth on the ladder after the first two months of the season but have significantly lower percentage than two sides one win behind them.
Kalkee are also just four points behind the Demons and would need to make up little more than three percent to also boast a higher percentage.
Coach Todd Heyen said he is not too concerned about it at this point of the season.
“It’s probably a bit too late in the season to make up the percentage but we have won all the game that we need to win which holds us in good stead,” he said.
“We’re confident we can do well on the weekend and if we can lift that percentage up to make it look a bit better than that is great. It’s not our main concern though, if we keep winning then hopefully it doesn’t need to be taken into account.”
Kane Mason and Jarrod Mibus will both be unavailable for the match.
Heynen said he was not sure whether the side would look towards juniors or players from the reserves side to fill the holes.
“I think it will be a good opportunity for someone like Will Miller to step up,” he said.
“He’s played a few games for us so far this season and could really get some confidence at senior level.”
The side will also take the opportunity to try some different tactics in defence.
“It’s a chance to do some things at a time where there is a little bit less risk,” Heynen said.
