Croser said it was very exciting to progress to level two.
“It gives us more credibility at assessors as we travel around to other clubs,” she said.
“Tina has been working on getting to level two since 1999 and I’ve been working on it since 2013.”
In order to progress to the next level the two coaches were put through a series of rigorous practical and theoretical assessments.
The assessment process was watched over by international assessor Mary Longden and national level two assessor Judy Doyle.
“Mary has travelled all over the world assessing coaches,” Croser said.
The Riding for the Disabled Association in Horsham has three of its own national assessors.
Croser operates as a national assessor, Pallot as a national vaulting assessor and Anne Grills is a national carriage driving assessor.
“We have another five level one coaches as well,” Croser said.
“We have built up a very skilled team of coaches over the years who have benefited from successful mentoring programs.”
She said she was always encouraging young people to give coaching a go.
“It can be their ticket to the world,” she said.
“Once you have your accreditation it can take you so many places.”
