Donald v                     Wych-Narraport

THE Royal Blues will need to be back to their best to challenge the Demons in round 12 after a disappointing loss to Sea Lake-Nandaly.

Coach Tom Bell said it will be a massive game. “We need to lift across half-forward and use the footy better,” he said.

As always Corey Jones will be a key man to stop for the Donald. The league’s leading goalkicker has already kicked 56 goals in the first 11 rounds. “He’s a good player and will be potent up forward but if we limit the supply as a midfield group we can limit his damage,” Bell said. “I will back our defence in to do the job.”

St Arnaud v Birchip-Watchem

DEFENCE will again be a key focus for the Saints when the side takes on a Bulls side eager to push up the ladder on Saturday. It was not a good day for the St Arnaud side when the two sides faced off in round five. The Saints failed to trouble the scorers in the second-half in that game as an from 11-points half-time deficit extended to 103-points by the final siren.
