The man phoned around his community last week after he believed his dog became stuck under his house.
The man could hear the dog barking – but no amount of calling the dog would rouse it from its hiding place.
He needed assistance from a smaller-bodied person to squeeze under the house and locate the dog.
Enter, his friend the plumber who, of course, is no stranger to crawling into and working in tight spaces.
But again, no amount of calling the dog could rouse it.
Man in the Corner believes the conversation went a little like this:
The man: “He’s under there! I can hear him barking!”
The plumber: “Well, he’s not there. Show me where you can hear him barking.”
And so the pair proceeded to the lounge room.
It was here the man and the plumber discovered the dog, who was in fact trapped – under a recliner chair.
