President John Finn said the weekend had exceeded organisers’ expectations
“There were rockers from all over Victoria and every event was a great success,” he said.
On Friday night, the Fender Bender played at Horsham College to a crowd of 160 people.
The Lincolns followed on Saturday night, attracting 210 people.
“I had the best two bands in Australia playing and I believe everyone who attended would agree, they were sensational,” he said.
Mr Finn has organised the rock ‘n’ roll festival since 2001.
“In my opinion this was the best dance I’ve ever organised and the response was outstanding,” he said.
“I was impressed to see everyone dress up in their hippie wear.
“On Sunday, we finished with a barbecue with 100 people visiting Haven Hall.”
