Honesty and sincerity. These are attributes which, I think, are sadly lacking in the promises and statements of many leaders around the world.

Whether these leaders are of governments, or companies and corporations, in Australia or overseas. I, for one, have great difficulty trusting promises and statements made by such leaders.
There are many instances when actions are predicted to happen for the benefit of people as a whole.
Eventually, it’s shown the actions haven’t been carried through for all, but for a select few.
My cynicism tends to rise quite alarmingly.
One of the bases for my faith in God Almighty and His Plan of Salvation is that this is a plan for everybody and for all time.
God has a plan which cost Him the life of His Son, Jesus Christ, for any who believe to have a hope of life eternal in God’s presence when our life on earth comes to a close.
I read Bible verses such as, “For God did not send his Son into the world to be its judge, but to be its Saviour” and "Don’t be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me” - Jesus’ words as recorded by John the Apostle, and “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him” – words of encouragement written by Paul the Apostle to Christians in first century Rome.
The message of God’s Word, The Bible, is: Here are promises which can be trusted completely because they’re made for our benefit, not for the benefit of the one who spoke them. I pray you might start to learn to appreciate this hope God offers us all.
