In a game that came down to the wire, the Gems defeated Latvia with a score of 61-56 in the semi-final of the competition.
Neither side had a comfortable lead at any stage of the contest, the Gems did edge in front in the final minutes courtesy of Bibby.
Bibby was again important in the Gems win tallying seven points, seven rebounds and three assists.
