A STRONG start set Edenhope-Apsley up for the rest of the day when it travelled to face Jeparit-Rainbow.

The Saints remain in the top six after a 43-22 win against the Storm.

“She did really well,” Saints coach Leonie Lang said.

“She was on a tall lady but shot well.”

Cathryn McDonald stepped up from C Grade to fill in for Cynthia Watt in goal keeper for the Saints.

“We played a lot better this game,” Lang said.

“We still have some stuff to work on.”
