NORADJUHA-QUANTONG will travel to face second-placed Natimuk United on Saturday.
The Bombers come into this contest with an eight-game winning streak and are more than confident to take on the heavy-hitting Ewes.
The Ewes will look to bounce back in round 15 of the Horsham District league after they were dealt a heavy 28-goal loss at the hands of Laharum.
Bombers co-coach Yolanda Molineaux said the game would be an interesting one.
“It’s going to be tough – but that’s what we want coming into finals,” she said.
“We’re glad we have two hard games for the final two rounds.”
The Bombers will take on the Ewes before playing Laharum in the final round of the regular season.
“On the weekend we will be able to tell. The game is winnable,” Molineaux said.
“We’re going to have to work hard.”
Pimpinio v Kalkee
PIMPINIO will host Kalkee in a game which will be for pride.
Both teams are unable to play finals netball but have been performing well in the second half of the 2017 season.
The Tigers defeated the Swifts while Rupanyup narrowly defeated the Kees in round 14.
Kees coach Bek Harvey expected it to be a good game.
“It will be a good game for us,” she said.
“Hopefully we can get a win.”
The Tigers won 46-38 the last time the two teams met in round four.
“I think we went into that game thinking we could win it and we lost,” Harvey said.
“Everyone has advanced this season. We just want to see out the season with a couple of wins.”
Harvey expects the game to be won in the mid-court.
“They have a lot of quick mid-courters so hopefully ours can show up to the party,” she said. “Hopefully our goalies can have a better day from last week.”
Rupanyup v Har-Bal
AFTER a nail-biting finish to Harrow-Balmoral’s previous game the team will look to get back onto the winners’ list when it meets Rupanyup on Saturday.
On paper the game looks like it will go in the way of the Southern Roos – but expect the Panthers to give them a run for their money.
A battle for second spot on the Horsham District league ladder is still up for grabs with the Ewes, the Southern Roos, the Bombers and the Southern Mallee Giants all within reach.
Laharum v Jep-Rainbow
LAHARUM will host Jeparit-Rainbow in round 15 of the Horsham District league. The Demons have been ruthless in the 2017 season and don’t expect that form to stop.
Eden-Apsley v Swifts
EDENHOPE-APSLEY will look to gain some much-needed confidence when it hosts the Swifts on Saturday.
The Saints have one foot in the finals door but will need this win to secure that spot.
SM Giants v Taylors Lake
THE Southern Mallee Giants will be looking to firmly cement finals netball when it faces Taylors Lake on Saturday. Expect the Giants to come away with the win.
