TAYLORS Lake experienced a 250-point drubbing when it travelled to face the Southern Mallee Giants on Saturday.
The final scoreboard read Southern Mallee Giants 38.29 (257) to Taylors Lake 1.1 (7).
The Lakers were kept scoreless in the first half against the Giants while the home side kicked away as they pleased.
The Giants got off to a flying start in the opening quarter and kicked 10 goals to nil.
The second quarter was the home team’s best performance. They kept their opposition to no goals while they scored 14 goals of their own.
It was a tough second half for the Lakers, but in the third quarter they managed to slot a point.
The Giants scored seven majors to continue their dominance.
The Lakers first and only goal came in the final quarter.
