Holy Trinity Lutheran School students will head to the Bendigo EEV HPV Grand Prix on Saturday and race between 1pm and 10pm.
Teacher Matt McLoughlin said this was the first Victorian race the team had attended so far this year, ahead of the RACV Energy Breakthrough in Maryborough in November.
Students previously competed in Mt Gambier in April.
“Since then the students have had lots of practice,” Mr McLoughlin said.
“The race in Bendigo will be a good chance to practice racing at night before the Energy Breakthrough.”
Mr McLoughlin said the students loved being involved. “They have so much enthusiasm and commitment,” he said.
“It’s a chance for them to connect with others at school and also with people from other schools. We had success in South Australia earlier this year, so hopefully we go well in Victoria.”
