In the Horsham District league, Taylors Lake playing coach Jye Smith has won the award by one vote.
He finished with 106 votes.
Pimpinio’s Dylan Arnott and Jeparit-Rainbow defender Sean Bayzand both grabbed nine votes in their weekend matches.
Laharum co-coach Todd Heynen, Kalkee coach Hamish Exell and Rupanyup ruckman Zack May also earned the maximum votes in the league’s final home-and-away round.
In the Wimmera league, Nhill Tiger Billy Hayes sits on top of the award table with one round remaining. Hayes has 92 votes.
Horsham Saint Sam Clyne took home nine votes when his side ousted Minyip-Murtoa on Saturday.
Warrack Eagles coach Ryan McKenzie was outstanding against Ararat Rats and was awarded nine votes.
Stawell Warriors coach Thomas Eckel also polled highly.
