At Bendigo’s Australian Sheep and Wool Show, the stud won supreme white suffolk exhibit; grand champion ram; senior champion ram; first sires progeny group; first group one ram and two ewes; first April drop ram; first May drop ram; first and third June drop ram; second and third wooly ram; and first pair of ewes.
The stud’s texel sheep won reserve champion ram; reserve champion ewe; first sires progeny group; and most successful texel exhibitor.
At Sheepvention at Hamilton, the stud’s white suffolks won champion ewe; reserve senior champion ram; first sires progeny group; first April drop ram; and first pair of ewes.
The texels won champion ewe; reserve champion ram; and most successful texel exhibitor. Principal Tim Jorgenson said the stud would go to the Royal Adelaide Show for the first time next month, where it would offer two white suffolk rams in the elite stud sheep sale.
