The Mountain Maids faced an in-form Noradjuha-Quantong side on Saturday and won 48 to 19.
Both teams started the game well but the second quarter was where the Mountain Maids made an early charge for the finish line.
The Mountain Maids scored 12 goals to two in the second term and brought a 14-goal lead into the main break.
Bombers coach Yolanda Molineaux said her team was disappointed in certain aspects of their game.
“I think we were thinking more about the first week of finals than this game,” she said.
“We aren’t really counting that game.”
Ema Iredell was named best on court for the Mountain Maids and played in goal defence.
Maddison Focroul was named best on court for the Bombers, playing in centre and wing defence.
“Maddy has been consistent in the last few weeks and young Abby Hallam did well when she came on at halftime,” Molineaux said.
Georgia Francis went off the court injured but will return for the elimination game against the Southern Mallee Giants.
Molineaux isn’t worried about the result.
“We knew the result against Laharum and Natimuk didn’t have an effect on the ladder,” she said.
