With the curtain set to rise on Thursday night at the Horsham Town Hall, the cast are putting the final polish on their performances.
Shanae Thomas, who plays Elle Woods, said the cast was eager to bring the energy shown in rehearsals to the stage.
She said the excitement had been building each week.
“I love the energy from the group. It’s boosting everyone’s performance,” she said.
The Legally Blonde Junior cast started dress rehearsals on Friday.
She said the costumes had elevated their performance and brought a whole new level of enthusiasm to the stage.
“When we got into the costumes, it started to feel real,” she said.
“Finally getting to perform with our costumes on instantly put us into character and bumped up everyone’s performance.”
Shanae said rehearsals had been productive, with each cast member dedicated to perfecting their lines, lyrics and dance routines.
Also with lead roles are Lucinda Binney, playing Brooke Whindham, and Remy Cross, who will play Warner Huntington III. The role of Bruiser will be filled by Jasper the dog.
Legally Blonde Junior is showing at the Horsham Town Hall from Thursday, September 14, to Sunday, September 17.
Tickets are available for $20 via www.horshamtownhall.com.au or by phoning 5382 9555.
