President Lea Crammond said the trip on Sunday, October 8 would visit the Narrapumelap Homestead and Gardens at Wickliffe.
The historic homestead is known as a significant example of Australian Neo French Gothic revival and is recognised as an architectural “masterpiece”.
“People can take a tour hosted by the owner of the homestead and the gardens,” Mrs Crammond said. “There will be lots of fun on the bus (along the way), with competitions and prizes.”
The auxiliary has two major fundraisers a year.
All money raised goes towards the purchase of equipment to support clients of Wimmera Hospice Care.
The bus will leave Horsham’s Coles car park at 8am and return about 6pm.
Included in the $90 ticket price is admission to the homestead and gardens, lunch, morning and afternoon tea.
Mrs Crammond said people could phone Betty on 5382 4791 for tickets and more information.
