Navarre is preparing for a tight contest when it takes on Lexton in the B Grade netball grand final on Saturday.
The Grasshoppers and Tigers met twice during the home and away season, sharing the honours with one win each.
Navarre will go into the game with on the back of some solid form, having lost just once in the past 12 matches.
One of those games included a qualifying final victory over minor premiers Trentham, handing the Saints just their second loss of the season.
Navarre B Grade co-coach Trish Martin said she believes her side is capable of getting over the line against Lexton.
“We are definitely in the hunt if we play our best,” she said.
“We are all feeling really good after some strong wins.”
Martin said her side will have to be wary of the unconventional Lexton defensive setup.
“They play a zone defence which is quite different to what a lot of other teams do,” she said.
“The key for us is not to panic with the ball and know we can get around their zone if we play our style.
“It is about keeping possession, making short and sharp passes and working hard.”
Martin said the key message to her team is to enjoy the occasion.
“You don’t get into grand finals every year,” she said.
“We have to enjoy it for what it is.
“We ave done the hard work throughout the season and as long as we stay confident in ourselves I think we will get the job done.”
The B Grade netball grand final will start at 1.15pm.
