HORSHAM Saints footballers made the most of the familiar conditions at Coughlin Park to win three out of three preliminary finals on Sunday.

After trailing at three-quarter time the Horsham Saints came home with a wet sail to win the reserves preliminary final. Three final quarter goals by Gavin Kelm helped the Saints win 10.12 (72) to 7.6 (48) after trailing at the end of every quarter.
An under-17s Saints side bolstered by players with seniors experience run riot against Stawell. The Saints kicked four goals to one in the first quarter and controlled the game throughout on the way to the 11.13 (79) to 4.4 (28) win. Mitch Martin kicked three goals in the win and was best on ground for the Saints.
The under-14s Saints side started the trend when it easily accounted for Ararat. The young Rats side was powerless to stop the Saints from winning 11.2 (78) to 1.3 (9). Sam Breuer kicked three goals in the in and Austin McKenzie was best on ground.
