Starick was named the Wimmera Netball Association best and fairest, she recorded 23 votes.
Beaton was named runner-up best and fairest with Ararat Rat Maddison Batchelor collecting 21 votes, one off Beaton.
Starick averaged 2.55 votes a round, polling votes in just nine games.
Beaton was the most consistent player to poll votes in C Grade, grabbing them in 12 games.
Starick said it was an amazing feeling to win the best and fairest award.
“I think it is pretty exciting because I have never actually won an award in the Wimmera league before,” she said.
“I’ve been in the Wimmera league for quite a few years now.”
Starick said the reason behind winning the award was playing so many years in A Grade and B Grade. “I have a strong team too,” she said.
