Miss Sordello adopted two Horsham PAWS’ kittens, Kida and Shim, who have now grown into “beautiful and well-loved” adult cats.
After moving out of home Miss Sordello said she was looking for a furry companion.
“I saw a gorgeous kitten advertised on the Horsham PAWS’ Facebook page,” she said.
“I messaged Penny immediately to organise a time to meet the cat and I fell in love.”
When adopting her second cat, Miss Sordello said she was a foster home for the cat and she could not let him go.
She said Horsham PAWS made the adoption process simple.
“The cats both came vaccinated, desexed and with their health checks,” she said.
Miss Sordello said the foster care program reassured her that she was adopting a healthy and loving cat.
“You know exactly what you are getting when you adopted through Horsham PAWS. Both the cats I adopted were so well-tamed with the biggest personalities,” she said.
“Kida is the sassiest thing ever with so much confidence strutting through the house. The other one, Shim, is just a cushy puddle that falls over all the time.”
She said she would never be able to adopt a ‘free to a good’ home cat.
“It’s not that there is anything wrong with them. It is so much easier to go through Horsham PAWS,” she said.
“A free cat is never free because you need to get the vet work and it will cost you 10 times more than that.”
Miss Sordello said she would never have been able to adopt through anywhere else and was happy to have found her two feline friends.
