Senior coach Hamish Exell claimed his first ever best and fairest trophy on the Friday, he tallied 104 votes for the season.
Club president Trevor McRae said Exell deserved the best and fairest trophy.
“Hamish deserved it because he was simply the better footballer throughout the year,” he said.
“And we learnt on the night that it was Hamish’s first best and fairest trophy he has ever won… Which is kind of special seeing he won it at the club where he started his career.”
Brendan Hobbs was the runner-up best and fairest with 61 votes.
Jonathan Baker was named the reserves best and fairest gaining 31 votes, eight votes ahead of runner-up Andrew Brown.
Coco Ledgar took home the A Grade best and fairest award after a consistent season. Runner-up best and fairest for A Grade was Jaymi O’Connor.
Mel Schultz was the B Grade best and fairest while Lisa Fulton was the C Grade best and fairest.
Claire Mackay clinched the C Reserve best and fairest.
Amy Templeton was named the best club person for the Kees and McRae said she deserved the award most.
“She was heavily involved in the netball administration and the netball social activities,” he said.
“It was her behind the scenes efforts that made her easily the best club person of 2017.”
Caden Wickes was awarded a life membership on the clubs big night.
