Horsham Ladies Golf will be hosting its annual Nell Smithett Memorial Trophy

HORSHAM Ladies Golf has three separate competitions running over three days in October. 

The competitions will be played at the Horsham Golf Club. 

Lady golfers will be competing for the Horsham Ladies Golf most prestigious trophy, the Nell Smithett Trophy. 

The first event is the Nell Smithett Four Ball Aggregate Stableford, an event for Horsham lady members, on October 17 and will start at 9.30am. 

A Stableford, which is open to all visitors, is set to start at 10.30am and will be on October 19. 

The Nell Smithett Memorial Trophy will be played out on October 20. 

Played annually since 1970 the Trophy recognises the achievements of, and contribution to ladies golf by Nell Smithett.

Nell Smithett was a member of the Horsham Golf Club, serving as Lady Captain for four years and was Club Champion in 1964, 65, 66, and 67.
