The meeting also saw new board members Brett Thompson appointed as treasurer and Nick McIntyre step into the ordinary board member role.
Tony Wills remains as Vice President and Darren Chesterfield will stay on as secretary on the reduced five-person board.
Caccaviello said he was excited to work with the new board.
“Our goals are to increase participation in cricket within the association particularly at the junior level,” he said.
“We recognised they are the future of the sport.”
The meeting gave a rousing ovation to retiring board members Tim Hopper, John Burns, Chris Hopper and John Heard acknowledging their commitment and passion to the HCA.
Chesterfield told the meeting that the association owed the four retiring members a great amount of gratitude.
“The amount of time John Burns put into managing and growing umpire development is almost impossible to measure,” he said.
“John’s love of cricket can’t be doubted and has stood the test of time.
“Working with Timmy and Chris Hopper has been a pleasure. Both are cricket tragics and offer so much encouragement.”
Caccaviello also said the board valued the continued support it received from major sponsors Preston Rowe Paterson as well as junior association sponsors the Wimmera Mail-Times.
