I Am The Dark won his second consecutive race for the boutique trainer on Sunday.
The gelding won the 1600 metre MyPunter.com BM70 handicap at Cranbourne to take his season tally to two wins from five races. He has also placed twice.
Apprentice jockey Jessica Eaton rode I Am The Dark once again to win by a length.
Eaton also rode the gelding in his previous victory on October 7 at Murtoa.
The win at Murtoa qualified I Am The Dark for the Melbourne Cup carnival country final to be raced on Oaks day at Flemington.
It was a successful weekend for Eaton, who also rode a winner at Manangatang on Saturday.
She took I Carus to victory 2000m Dial Before You Dig BM52 handicap, winning by a length.
The victories steadied Eaton’s ranking in the jockey standings, currently sitting at 18th in the Victorian country and 34th in the overall Victorian standings.
