Millar, 66, and Nathan Koenig, 47 not out, put on big partnership to help Colts recover from 3-50 against the Jung Tigers in order to set up their side’s win.
Both batsmen were playing their first game of the season and looked in control as they took the game away from their opposition.
Liam Jakobi capped off the good work of his teammates with a hard-hitting 38 not out to set Jung a target of 213 to win.
Colts captain Josh Colbert made things difficult for the Tigers early in their chase by picking up the wickets of Ash Wright and Martyn Knight.
The side slumped to 3-32 despite Luke Sonego looking to be in strong form on his way to 54 before being run out.
He was the only Jung player to capitalise on making a start as the side finished its 40 over 8-144.
“I think we were always ahead in the game,” Colbert said.
“The partnership of Brad (Millar) and Nathan (Koenig) really set us up.”
Lubeck-Murtoa made it two from two with a comfortable six-wicket win against Bullants.
The Bullants had set been restricted well by the Lubeck-Murtoa attack with only Ben Anson’s 46 and John Heard’s 36 real standouts.
Craig Wilson followed up his figures of 3-19 with the ball to also be Lubeck-Murtoa’s hero with the bat.
He compiled an unbeaten 72 which was well supported by Corey Chenoweth and Hamish Gawith as their side comfortably passed its target of 142 with 11 overs and six wickets in hand.
