Seventeen seniors and six juniors competed for a total of 22 redfin.
In what was a great day to be out on the water, Gavin Keilar took out first place hooking five redfin, measuring a total of 191.5 centimetres.
Second place was awarded to Russell Bird who caught three redfin, measuring a total of 108.5 centimetres, and third place went to Paul Whelan, with redfin measuring 107.5 centimetres.
Wyatt Blake took out the junior division, with a reddie measuring 38.5 centimetres.
Russell Bird snared the longest fish of the day, with a reddie measuring 45 centimetres.

Horsham: Nice yellows and redfin are being caught below the Horsham Weir.
Rocklands: running hot at the moment, with reports of nice redfin at Hynes being caught on plastics.
Wartook: has started to pick up, with some nice trout caught on mudeye and redfin on hard body lures
Toolondo: the trout are on the go with mudeye. Redfin are being hooked on power bait.
Taylors Lake: there have been some nice yellows caught on worms from the bank.

Saturday, November 18: Dimboola fishing competition, boat and bank, on the Wimmera River.
November 18 and 19: Horsham Angling Club, Lake Fyans competition, sponsored by A.T Waterfield & Son.
Starting at 6am Saturday and concluding at noon Sunday. Entries and weigh in at the Scout camp on the southern side of the lake (camping is available).
