Graeme Reddie was in blistering form against the Saints at Coughlin Park but narrowly missed on a century as Lubeck-Murtoa chased down its target within 20 overs.
It was an all too familiar story for the Saints side as it struggled to score after captain Brad Sproule decided to bat first.
Sproule, 52, and Mark O’Beirne, 30, were the only batsmen to show any application throughout the innings. Lachlan Patching picked up 4-20 off his eight overs and Graeme claimed 3-18 as the Saints were dismissed for 138 in their final over.
Graeme and Shannon Reddie then showed no mercy against the Saints attack. Only Brock Hamerston managed to go at less than six runs an over as the pair made light work of the small target. Graeme was dismissed for 93 off the bowling of Seb Dalgliesh on the final ball of the game while Shannon finished unbeaten on 43.
Colts registered a comfortable 55-run win against Bullants at Noradjuha.
Nathan Koenig’s 68 and Liam Jakobi’s 41 laid the foundation for the sides score of 213 which ultimately proved difficult for the Bullants to chase down.
Kent Hair, 37, and Ben Anson, 56, gave the Bullants a chance of chasing the target down early. The pair put together a 48-run partnership before Josh colber, 3-14, and Ross Frew, 3-33, tightened the screws. The side reached 9-158.
