Committee president Yolande Grosser said the two-day event raise $4500.

“We also had a cafe, where we sold food for a gold coin donation and raised $195,” she said.

“That money will go towards a scholarship for students in alternative programs to help them stay engaged in students.”

Mrs Grosser said there was a steady stream of people throughout the event.

“There was probably 60 people lined up ready to come in at the start,” she said.

Mrs Grosser said a mix up with the hall meant the committee couldn’t set up until the morning of the event.

“We had three year 7 classes help us though and we got it all done in an hour,” she said. 

“It was like an amazing factory and the students really had fun with it.” 

Mrs Grosser said the committee was looking for new members to join as many existing parents had students in year 12. 

“Anyone with an interest in student welfare is welcome to join,” she said.
