The school received $138,100 from the state government to address various maintenance problems.
The project included an upgrade to the car drop-off zone, tree removal, partial roof replacement, drainage and stormwater works.
Horsham Primary School principal Chris Walter said the upgrade was necessary.
“The improvements were necessary with our roofs leaking and water pooling into water ways – after a downpour there would be water on the carpet,” he said.
“It’s important to get these small things fixed so we don’t have to worry about them.”
Mr Walter said the change kept the school in a reasonable condition to allow students to learn.
