It is the second time the two teams will have met with the Geelong team getting the better of the Redbacks in the opening round of the season.
Coach Wayne Slack said that while winning was important, there is a bigger picture he is trying to implement.
“We are working towards getting our philosophy on how we play into place,” he said.
“We have been working hard on discipline and structure on the court which is taking some time but each week we are making progress, and I do not expect this week to be any different.”
The Supercats sit at the top of the table, as the only undefeated team and will go into the match as heavy favourites on their home court.
Cronin said it will be another good test for the team, something they are embracing.
“It is really important to us to play the best teams, to continue to develop and benefit from those games,” he said.
The last time the two sides met in round one the Redbacks were pumped by the Supercats 85 to 39.
It took the Supercats one half to get 20 points ahead and win convincingly against the newly entered side.
The Redbacks will be in good stead to challenge the league leaders in their return match of the season.
Delaney McLoughlan scored 19 goals for the Redbacks in the first meeting.
