The award was presented at the InterContinental Sydney on November 22. 

Australian Hearing Horsham manager Ann Bongiorno said the award meant a great deal to the business. 

“We feel like we offer something different in customer service to other businesses,” Mrs Bongiorno said. 

“It makes us very proud to be recognised for our work.

“We strive to do our best and do what is right by the clients.” 

Mrs Bongiorno said her workplace used a method, called ‘Together We Will’.

“We try to get the best outcome for our clients,” she said. 

Mrs Bongiorno said watching the reaction from people who were hearing noises for the first time in years was rewarding. 

“There was one time a man came back to the store four times in one day, telling us all the different noises he had heard,” she said. 

“It makes us all very happy when we see that.” 

There are Australian Hearing business located in Horsham, Ararat, Stawell and Warracknabeal.

Mrs Bongiorno said she hoped to have one in St Arnaud soon. 

“We have two new audiologists starting in March at Horsham,” she said. 

“We are building up our business and it is going well. We are feeling appreciative of our clients who voted for us.”
