Mr Gallagher started from scratch, shaving his short stubble off completely on November 1 before developing a moustache reminiscent of Tom Selleck’s character in the 1980s television series.
He said he was glad to remove the mo when November ended.
“As soon as it hit December 1, the mo hit the bathroom floor,” he said.
Mr Gallagher raised $360 for the cause.
“A team member of mine also donated some money himself and we ended with $390,” he said.
“I thought that was really good.”
Mr Gallagher said he would like to participate in Movember again, but said it depended on who his boss was this time next year.
“This year my boss was okay with it,” he said.
Mr Gallagher said he was happy to see a lot of people and businesses taking part in Movember in Horsham this year.
“It shows Horsham really wants to help the foundation,” he said.
“I am hoping I can go bigger and better next year.”
Mr Gallagher said he was not as prepared as he would have liked in 2017.
“I would like to be a bit more organised next year and get a few more people involved. November came around really quick,” he said.
“I’d like to try to get more people doing Move for Movember as well.”
Move for Movember involves a person or group recording how far they walk, run or ride in November, and raising money for the Movember Foundaiton.
“Everyone has done all they can this year, now we wait for next year,” Mr Gallagher said.
