Despite struggles with the bat after winning the toss the Saints Red bowling attack got the job done to restrict an in-form Blue Panthers lineup to just 89 runs. Logan Briggs claimed 3-20 off six overs as Saints red won by 26 runs.
Homers bounced back to top form on the back of unbeaten Barry Hopper and Bayley Burke half-centuries. Laharum were set 201 to win but struggled once Jeremy Tyler, 31, and Robert McInness, 24, were removed at the top of the order.
Ash Marra’s 35 gave the side some hope but eventually it was bowled up for 149 in the final over.
Quantong were a class above Horsham Saints Black on the way to a 72-run win. Tim Brand, 46, and Nathan Hill, 41, led the way for with the bat while Matthew Cummins claimed 4-12.
Lubeck-Murtoa defeated Jung Tigers by eight wickets with 16.3 overs to spare in the final game of the round.
