Willaura principal Tammie Meehan said the display and the market set up around it were “amazing”.
“It was just everything we hoped it would be and more,” she said.
“It was heartwarming. You could feel the community spirit.”
About 200 Willaura and surrounding region community members come to see the display on Friday night that incorporated the pupils artwork.
“There were three stories about the area that were animated and narrated by local people they they loved hearing that,” Ms Meehan said.
“There was also a bit of a carnival atmosphere with the jumping castle and the years four to six pupils ran their own market stalls.
“We’re going to make a DVD as the people who didn’t go were sorry they missed it.”
