Cod season opened on December 1.
Only six seniors and two juniors made the trip, which is always a problem at this time of year.
The fishing was good, with 22 yellow belly and 35 carp recorded.
Unfortunately, no cod were caught.
The biggest yellow belly was a tie between Alan Shaw and John Douglas, with 42-centimetre fish.
The prize for the biggest carp went to Geoff Newell who hooked a 73-centimetre fish.
The junior’s competition was won by Shane Wouters, with a 55- centimetre carp.
