The side lost by eight wickets in its first game against Metropolitan Inner South East in the morning and struggled with the bat against Central Highlands in the afternoon.
The Waves set Metropolitan Inner South East a target of 132 to win from its 20 overs.
Nhill’s Shanaye Alexander claimed an early wicket but the rest of the bowling attack had difficulties breaking through.
Metropolitan Inner South East eventually reached the target with 10 ball to spare.
Central Highlands batted first against the Waves in the afternoon.
Anna Habel claimed the first wicket as the Waves enjoyed more success with the ball at Princess Park but a determined 42 by Georgia Kerr allowed her side to reach 109.
The Waves could not get going in reply as regular wickets prevented partnerships from building.
The side lost its final wicket with 66 runs on the board and eight balls remaining.
